Rail Facility gets good Grounding 

Broons’ trusted BH-1300 square Impact Roller has again proven the right choice for ground preparation in Bordertown South Australia. Once operational, this new container loading facility will require serious ground stiffness when handling fully loaded rail containers of 20+ tonne. Knowing the demands ahead, the project managers utilised the BH-1300 roller for a fast and effective compaction of the existing wood yard. Within days the in situ ground was compacted, and the roller was switched to work on the integrity of the pad, not only compacting each lift, but reducing oversize material as well.
