Effective economical compaction

The Broons range of Towed Vibrating Rollers is ideal for the compaction of loose lifts between 100mm-300mm thickness. These rollers are ideally suited to soils and gravel but will work adequately on rock fill with a grading no greater than 200mm minus.

Often expensive self propelled rollers sit idle for weeks at a time and that's a lot of cash tied up in an under-utilised machine. A towed machine will eliminate this concern immediately as the purchase price of a Broons roller can be around 60% of a self propelled unit with similar performance.

And, all of the Broons roller’s weight is over the drum, unlike a self-propelled machine where the weight transfer is split between the front drum and rear tyres.
