Rockbuster
If only it were possible to use all rocks in
their natural state to build roads.... Unfortunately it's not and
in the early 1960s the unique engine driven hammermill Rockbuster
was developed.
Today's machine is significantly refined from the early design.
Broons' modern BH-1220 Rockbuster is fitted with a powerful 210kW
Caterpillar turbo charged and after cooled diesel engine. The
crushing chamber is lined with removable wear plates.
The hammershaft weighs nearly 2 tonnes and the 22kg hammers rotate at close to
200kph. The Rockbuster can produce around 1000m3 per day in a
variety of materials from soft Limestone right up to the hardest
Basalt. Most importantly, its easy to use and highly portable -
generally able to start crushing in under 2 minutes!
Proven worldwide in Norway, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea,
Southern Africa, Canada and Australia, the Rockbuster is setting the
standard others only aim for. Powerful..... Portable..... Practical..... Quit Your Old Habits
