Broons BH-1830 Combination Roller can be as
flexible as you want it to be – it can be a combination of
smooth drum and multi-tyres, a grid roller and multi-tyres, or
just multi-tyred.
It is ideally suited to compaction during
maintenance grading of roads. The rubber tyres are used in lieu
of the steel drum for either general compaction, or to produce a
slurry surface on the upper base course layer prior to sealing.
With a rolling width of 1830mm and an all-up
weight of up to 15.67 tonnes you can order the combination of
tyres and drum type that best suits your needs. We make many
combinations, so there’s sure to be one that’s ideal for your
needs.
You can chose your own tyre spacing to ensure
the surface finish you want, as well as roll shell thickness,
tare weight and ground clearance. We’ll custom build it to suit
you, and your working conditions.
A Broons Combination Roller is easy to use,
and change from tyres to drum, and back. It’s a simple
operation that can be done from the ease of your seat.
